Pretty good. Drinking Jameson while playing video games all night and ignoring the fiance.

Jameson and Mike's Hard something. I'm not exactly sure what flavor. I'm comfortable with my sexuality.

Went to a play at Drury Lane, no drinking tonight due to work in the morning

Went to my step-son's MX race at Lake County Fairgrounds. All they had was Miller Lite and MGD. Garbage.

Oddly enough, still woke up with a headache.

I drank everything that wasn't tied down yesterday and last night. Feel pretty good this morning, despite only getting five hours of sleep. Round 2 of Phish to commence this afternoon.

Yes.

do they do different sets/shows each night so ppl are prone to attending every night, or do they repeat some songs/sets for ppl who can only make one show?

i reckon the whole wrigley field thing kind of poo-poos all over the "cultural experience" that is the phish parking lot experience. i've had the phish friend/s try to get me to just hit up the parking lot scene because "it's all love man, it's all love.... you gotta experience it once to see what i mean"

Yes. If they play a four night run somewhere, they won't repeat a song. Tonight, they won't play anything that they played last night or Wednesday in Minnesota (1st show of summer tour).

It was different, but whatever. We got our pregame on at Sheffield's. The beer garden was completely taken over by the Phishheads. People were blazing everywhere. The entire bar and patio area stunk like dank weed.

is that the joint right @ sheffield/school where they technically have 200+ types of beer and they even have some secret/ish little beer club that you can apply to get in (for when they do "events" to try all their beer snobby beers) but they're a discerning lot so they don't let just ANYONE get in it willy nilly?

i'll always remember that place as the place that got me in the habit of drinking water with my food so i don't waste the beer. i ordered a BLT or some sandwich once and the bartender immediately up and gave me a glass of water with it. i was like "huh?" so the bartender explained the whole "wasting good beer" angle and i thanked him for the good looking out.

I don't know anything about a secret beer club, but there were three different beer menus from which to choose. We went there specifically for two beers, and they were out of both (Bell's Wild One and Three Floyd's Icelandic Pants of the Dead). Then the waitress brought me an Oberon, when I ordered a Zombie Dust. These two beers couldn't look, smell, and taste more differently. She insisted that it was a ZD, and it was the bottom of the keg. I would have been fine drinking the Oberon, just so long as I was charged accordingly. We drank half the Oberons, and then she brought two Zombie Dusts.

I usually drink water with meals. We ordered no food yesterday. I had a small plastic container full of mangoes, which I ate before the show. I had a three piece (spicy) with red beans and rice from Popeye's at the train station after the show.

well yeah, isn't that the point of a secret beer club? =D

i hung out there fairly regularly over a summer circa 2008-09, so i eventually got to fill out this postcard-sized thing to apply for their "secret beer club." i reckon it isn't properly a secret (nor is it called such) but it's not like they have signs up like ASK ABOUT OUR BEER-SAMPLING EVENTS! idk if they still do it years later, but next time you're there you could ask if they still have some sort of "special events" where they try a bunch of those "deep cuts" on the beer menu and i reckon you'd have a better chance at being able to attend one of those events than i did (what with being me and all =)

also shit speak of the devil i think i technically have a zombie dust in my fridge. it's a three floyds, that much i know.... lemme check [congenial hold music plays] yeap indeed it IS zombie dust. it's got some kind of goblin king on the label and it's from THREE FLOYD'S BREWING MUNSTER IND. or whatever. i ended up with it cuz a friend of mine (who is all about that dark lord day festival they run, and this year i think he managed a cpl free tickets cuz his wife knows somebody who DJs those events.... but they didn't go and/or it ended up being some sort of torrential downpour or something) was crowing on and on about how amazing and kinda-rare(?) this stuff is like if you bring the empty bottle to binny's and say "do you have this?" they'll respect you and you'll either get that or at least access to "the good stuff" --- i just pointed out to him that at the prices you pay to do up dark lord day proper horrorshow and whatnot that you're spending enough $$$ on beer that you're entering the price range of "having a pretty decent heroin problem" =D
