That's what Bernstein just announced.

Interesting. That's what many on this board have suggested when Boers retires. So maybe they're gonna try this out and give Da Ma Na back to Spiegel. So Mitch Rosen has taken the board's advise. At least for a tryout.

God knows Goff would love the move back to his radio Dad. He loves and worships him. Why? I don't know. Bernstein is the exact type of white person that all black people should hate (white people too but especially black people). But Goff is brainwashed.

Watch Goff not laugh as much. Watch him also not use slang words. He wants Bernstein's approval where as he doesn't care about Spiegel's approval.

I've been telling you guys for months that the plan is Dan/Jason/Julie in afternoons. Here's the dress rehearsal, and no, Julie, that was not a gendered remark.

No. It won't be Julie joining Bernstein and Goff. Mitch giving her updates was enough of a save for the station, in Mitch's mind, for "BOOBS" by Bernstein. Plus why does he want to spend that extra money for a 3rd host when her 35k or whatever it is he pays her for updates? No point. Plus she's a dumb ass when it comes to sports talk. Not saying that cuz she's a girl. Sports talk girls are fair game to be called stupid just like Goff and drinky. So don't call me sexist.

Now, when Mac rejoins Spiegel it will be interesting. We all know Mac and Goff hate each other. But, I think Spiegel has developed a deeper hatred for Goff since their partnership started. Same with Goff towards Spiegel.

Mac knows this will be his last stand. Maybe he wants 3 or 4 years out of this and he retires. It will be "What the hell" for Mac. Spiegel will join in. They will wage a war against "Goff and Bernstein". Much like the Mike Murphy war that was first started by "Mac and Boers" and picked up by "Bernstein and Boers".

It will be fun.

Wait, did he announce Jason as Terry's replacement?

No. Just that he'll be subbing on Monday.

We've got 2 months of subs for Boers. So it's gonna be a lot of "Try outs" I guess.

Is he doing the show with Spiegs too? 9+ hours of Goff seems like a Beardown dream come true!

No. Bernstein was wondering who does the 9-1 show when he announced it. It's just a "Wife swap" for a day. At least for now. The SCORE has done "Wife swaps" before.

But I guarantee you Goff asked for this "Wife Swap". He's angling to move to Bernstein once Boers is gone!!!!!

Brothers don't host two shows at the same time. Too close to being three-fifths of a person. Looks bad in the community.

Goff: True dat, playa!!!!

Beardown: You can't talk that way in front of Bernstein if you want that gig full time. He frowns upon that type of talk. Just ask Dusty Baker and Derrick Rose.

Goff: I know. I won't.

if anything you know it'd help golf's player life/style to be able to sleep in a few extra hours. nothing too exciting goes on between ~130-630pm anyways (says an arsenal fan =)

Goff will be better with Bernstein as the driver. Bernstein does come up with topics and a structure to the show like an actual pro. Goff just wings it. And doing so usually devolves into mundane stories about his personal life. Followed by uncontrolled laughing. Followed by 3 pounds of the table. Followed by confusion, fright, shock and awkward silence from his partner, Spiegel.

He won't do that shit with Bernstein.

If they let Julie chime in a lot, it could be all-time bad. I'm a little excited.

I expect Goff to do more of his deep, low-key, old producer voice. Less console slapping and breathless monologuing but the inane giggling will still resound throughout WSCR's studios. Bulls fans will be censured with extreme prejudice.

We'll see. Cuz he was basically a talk show host with B&B while he was a producer for them. That sum bitch talked a lot. He didn't laugh at every god damn thing like he does now. Their new guy, Tanihill, doesn't say much.

I say no out of control giggling like a fool and no slang words. Like I said, he's on better behavior when he's before his Lord Bernsetin. Wants his approval.

I'm taking action. 5-1 odds say no slang and laughing.

I'll say this, Bernstein realizes that Mitch's decision to pair him with Goff is a tryout.

I hate to break it to you, Goff. He'd never say it to you, but no way Bernstein wants you. Partly because of racism, but mainly because you're too loud and controlling as a talk show host. You dominate Spiegel in the "saying shit" department. He doesn't want that. He wants to be the alpha dog. The main and controlling voice. Boers is cool with that cuz he doesn't care. He's old and just wants to make his 500k while Bernstein runs the show. Bernstein would want a more passive guy like Rozner to replace Boers. And, yes, also because Rozner is Jewish.

It's prolly been pointed out before. But Goff was light years better as the third-wheel chime producers as opposed to his current faux-alpha incarnation.

jesus christ almighty beardown, do you even have any culture going on with you? all the kids nowadays are up on 6712 being harder than busta rhymes going HAM. you're welcome.

either that or it's that meme where ppl post pictures of speed-guns with various epeeds recorded on it to show how much velocity is on beardown's fastball, and RFDC has you down for apx 6712mph.

also dude wowee zowee i didn't know you were a pavement fan. i could bust out a little vintage murph "say it like you mean it" but obviously that's what you were going for so there's no need for the vertable "duh." personally i think all that stuff you mention about golf dominating spiegel would immediately go by the wayside with a bernstein-n-goff partnership because jason KNOWS that bernstein is his radio-daddy (and thus you best be on your best behavior when you're out with him) and all the stuff you mention with spiegel happens because goff DOESN'T see durr speagol as a "radio daddy." he prolly sees speagol like a "cool uncle" or "babysitter" where you know that you can push it with ice cream right b4 dinner (read: instead of dinner) and not having that ass in bed by 9:30pm sharp cuz speagol wont report back to THE AUTHORITAH lest he wanna come off as looking weak/unreliable/etc; therefore, golf can get away with "pushing it" pretty much as much as he wants since the buck doesn't stop with speagol.

however, when he reunites with bernstein he knows all that shit will come to an end, and i don't think there will be any problem with that. if you want an example of how b&b producers (or people who come from the bernstein radio tree) don't respect speagol 100% just look at your boy drinky. none of that shit will fly with dan and they know it so they won't dare fuck with the FOTS.

also re:the jewish angle you're keen to promote, i don't think there's necessarily a NEED to push for 2 jewish guys on a show. if there's a jewish conspiracy involved at the score i reckon it'd be wanting to have jewish ppl on as many shows as possible (usually "driving" the show) as opposed to doubling down and having an "all jewish" show. odds are you can accomplish more of what (beardown thinks, no, KNOWS) you want by having as many jewish "show-drivers" as possible as opposed to concentrating them on one particular show; ergo you can have 2 "kosher" shows instead of 1 if you go that route!

(i don't believe it has anything to do with judiasm tbh, and if anything i think jason checks off a bunch of "desirable" boxes [young? hip? street? black? knows his place relative to dan?] and therefore he's the ideal choice right now unless they go outside the station to bring in some name that would bring some added !!!/buzz/hype/publicity to the pre-existing bernstein brand)

I'm working nights for the next 2 weeks, so may not hear this for a while.

I dislike Bernstein as much as everyone else, but do agree that he will have a structure and a plan to each show. Goff is probably one of the better options out there and it most certainly will be better than Boers.

Not saying it will be a great show, but it's better than any of the other options (Rozner, Hub, ZZ).

Goff may be viewed as a Bernsie disciple, but they fundamentally disagree on quite a few things...Derrick Rose, Tibs, GarPax to name a few. It could be a good listen.

Yeah, Dan cultivated sources in Bulls upper management and Jason didn't. I don't know that it's a fundamental disagreement.

Did I already write the "I have to think about how to phrase this" for Dan hosting a show with Jason and Julie?

but it is...differing sources mean different takes. I'm not sure what you're saying.
