I know most of you think I am the defender of all things ancient but I have always felt that George Reeves portrayal of the Man of Steel ranks as the best.

He is the only one to portray Superman as smarter than everyone else. Every other portrayal has him meek or a naive boy scout. The latest one has him as a confused alien.
