I said it a long time ago. Arrieta pissed hot. MLB didn't want to turn everyone against the upstart Cubbies right away so they made a deal, no suspension and the test is kept hush-hush but in the meantime Arrieta has to stop going to his "pilates lessons." Jake Arrieta is over.

His command is way off this year. Throwing a ton of pitches . What they say earlier? He's had 5 five inning starts out of 15 this year. This is first half of 2014 stuff again with better results. This is probably more of what should be expected from him than what he did last year.

Now if you want to suggest that word came down that testing was coming so as to give guys a heads up to get off the gas, well that idea I can entertain.
