His home run calls are dreadful.

Bryant's 2nd from last night:
http://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/mp4/2016/06/28/864995483/1467073707403/asset_1800K.mp4

Every time a Cubs hit a homer I remind myself of Kermit the Frog yelling DeJaay LeMaaaay hyoooooo

:aaargh:

It's a funny dynamic since I enjoy DeShaies' camp and dad jokes. I have no use for Kasper's shtick.

HG, I really like Coom Dog. I especially like the chemistry between Pat/Coom Dog/Grote. But it's not Coomer's fault he's forced to do PxP. That's on 670 to recognize he lacks the ability. Stop being cheap and figure out a credible guy to fill in.

What's so hard about finding an up and coming broadcaster and give him a learning experience. The Brewers are like the StL Cardinals in producing excellent broadcasters.

Or Pat Hughes can announce an entire game. I never knew it was such an exhausting job.

I think Pat is like 78 years old.

He's sitting in a chair talking for a couple hours. He's not on the field legging out a triple.

Vin Scully has been taking innings off since the '50s. Only John Sterling calls all nine innings every day.

Kasper isn't making the call there, is he? Sounds like DeShaies goes from a lame live read into an even lamer home run call.

WGN started the trend of torturing listeners when Pat was on break. Provost and Masur were solid and knew how to call a game. But then WGN had to incorporate charity hire Judd since, shit, what the fuck else is he gonna do?

And now the Cubs flip to CBS where they're paying up the nose for the broadcast rights. Like they're going to go out of their way to pay for talent. Just roll someone already on payroll into the gig (Not to dig at Grote as he's like the only genuine good guy at 670).
