Waiting for the time when I can finally say

Was an upper deck guy for about 6-7 years..now a lower deck guy... sec 220 .... I am there every game ...OK I missed two games last year.....

I have written to a few guys on here but only have met one... Doug from Evergreen park ...a few years ago when I sold him some tickets.

For the record I am also a Bears STH and have been for longer than most of you have been alive.... got my tix the year they left Wrigley... sat in the $7 per seat section in the south bowl until they rebuilt the joint...now I am on the 200 levek 20 yd line in the United Club....

I also had Sox season tickets back in the Dick Allen days ...was a STH for the Bulls and went to their first ever playoff game at The Chicago Colosseum ...since there was a concert at the Amphitheater. I have said it before and will say it again... my first glove was a Nellie Fox..my first game was Sox/Yankees... I loved the Southside Hitman and the fun Bill Veeck brought to baseball.... I DO NOT like Jerry/Eddie or Kenny Williams..... they have ruined my AL team.... see when I was a kid it was OK to root for both Cubs and Sox... they only played once a year for Charity and even that was fun. I RESPECT America's and Frank's love and passion for the Sox I know it's the NEW way and you have to pick sides..... and I will continue to get into Frank's head when ever I can (The June Swoon is almost over) ...I will miss the back and forth with BF on restaurants and Juan.... some of the best and funniest stuff I have ever read.....

I remember and went to games of the Cougars,(hockey) Horizons (MISL) Wind (USFL) and Sting.

I am not BF nor have I been to his new board and I have no plans to ......

Every single seat in the 400 level is better than 90% of the seats in the 200 level.
Unless you are in the front 5 rows of the 220 level, if it's cheaper for you, go back to 400. It's better for both sight lines and re-sale.
If you are in the first 5 rows of 220, those are great seats!

DING DING DING... you are correct....my first computer was a Leading Edge Model D in 1985 and used the AOL message boards back when you paid for dial up by the hour... got my first iPhone in 2008... far from a techie but I do look at many of contemporaries and just shake my head.

you have definitely stayed in touch with technology more than a lot of people your age. my dad, who's a few years older than you, bought our first family computer in 1988. it was a TANDY 1000. it became my favorite new toy. greatest thing was that the guy that gave it to him gave him all his disks...one of which included "leisure suit larry". thanks to having my dad's sense of humor and raised on what he watched growing up, i was almost always able to get through the quiz in the beginning to get into the game.

i started into AOL about 1994-1995. loved the chat rooms & message boards back then (and the hourly rate made your phone bill sky rocket). but i didn't get an iPhone until last year! i hold onto my phones. i had a Nokia green screen from 2000-2007.
