This fucker is going to cause me to get a speeding ticket. Have to rush home from work because he is awful. His call of Jake's homerun last night was embarrassing. Hopefully someone pulls the plug soon.

I never heard of this goofball til he joined the Cubs booth, I looked him up and saw he was a cub for one season..one season and this guy parlays that into a broadcasting job..smh .. I honestly think they got him cause he sounds like Santo and his name is Ron..he's brutal.

Yes...He's from Crest Hill. He was a decent player, but nothing to get too excited about. I heard him in an interview slot on one of the 670 shows and in conversation, he was much better than he's broadcasting.

I don't think he's very good, but he's not at Santo-level bad. The Cubs could have done a lot better.
