Both Anderson and Addison appear to be able to stick on glove alone. I'd like for things to slow down for Tim and give the Sox a quality bat. This year was fun when both teams were good.

After Anderson's second hit I did enjoy Stones reaction and it pretty much exemplifies the difference between fanbases right now. They brought up the his lack of a walk earlier in the AB and Stone responded saying he is a currently a 300 hitter and until the league catches up him, there isn't a damn thing he needs to change.

God damn it Abreu. He's getting out and around everything lately.

On a side note I can't believe the Sox scored 5 against a soft tossing lefty. I figured he'd tie these assholes in knots all day.

After looking at his numbers and plate discipline, I have no idea what is wrong with Todd Frazier other than an extreme bout of unluckiness. His BABIP is .188, but he's 27th in the MLB in walks, and is still posting a respectable SLG%. He's swinging at even fewer pitches outside the zone than any other time in his career, and his swinging strike percentage is below career averages. The only thing I see is that he's hitting a TON of pop-ups, comprising 23.2% of his total fly balls, which are up only 5% from career norms.

So, maybe there's a hitch in his swing from trying to go yard more (HR/FB is a bonkers 22%), but this is such a large deviation in BABIP that random chance has to play a large part.

Nice bunt late in a tie game by one of the few guys in the lineup that excels at not making outs regularly, and has the speed to beat out a double play. Good choice.

That's why I didn't call it a sacrifice bunt. It's still a bad play with how the defense was positioned, and resulted in zero runs, as per usual.

Eaton might be the worst baserunner in MLB?

There's quite a few Minnesota Twins players who lead the league in that category.

Come on there is no stat for that? Create one and use it for making your point....as you usually do!

I really hope the front office isn't being fooled by this recent "run". Their putrid 12-14 June was only saved by their 7-3 play to finish out the month. They're 9.5 back approaching the ASB, and are struggling to stay above .500.

And now Sale is going out for the 8th. Trade this guy before he gets himself hurt or needs surgery.

What the Hell is wrong with Todd Frazier's swing that he pops the ball up so frequently?

I don't know about that, but one less than the Astros is likely.

Still 0 wins when giving up more than 1 run.

Tim Anderson has one of the liveliest bats to come into this game in a long long time.

If Anderson keeps doing shit like this I could care less if he never walks. The guy is gasoline for a lineup.
