Nothing like celebrating our independence from England, by playing a British band every fourth song.
True story.
Mixed in with the yokels wearing "Make America Great Again Hats"
inside the Trump (Almost) Rally @the UIC Pavilion in March, was a sound track on loop blasting out nothing but Elton John & Rolling Stones music. Not a single song by an American, just six or so of their songs.
I know I heard "Rocket Man" at least 3-4x in the hour we were in there laughing at the assorted and sundry types.
I'm glad you were able to have that moment of feeling so superior. There can't possibly be any reason that people gravitate towards Trump's message. I mean, their jobs are being exported and their towns are inundated with an unassimilated foreign born population, but they should "just move!" right?
Do you go to black churches and laugh at the silly people dancing around and getting all excited by stories of a ghost in the sky? Those people would likely be less intelligent and less educated than you, so that would be a wonderful opportunity for you to feel that warm feeling of superiority.
