It's great beating up on Cincy or Pittsburgh..but that Mets series was ugly..I'm not even sure the Mets will make the playoffs but this team has a lot of holes that need to be filled.

Time to get mad.

Make a move. Just because you have (had?) a gigantic lead in the division does not mean you can voluntarily give half of it up and act like it is no big deal. Pitching has been identified as an area of need...sure Lackey / Hammel / Arrieta are better than they've recently been...but Hammel could easily be replaced with a better part. This bullpen can easily be improved. The Cubs have the pieces to get it done.

So get it done. I'm not going to settle for limping into the post-season.

Schwarber, Soler, Addison or Baez, Almora, Torres, Happ, Candelario... any and all of these guys are available to obtain talent to help the Cubs win over the next few years.
