I like that I can watch the home games with the sound on for the first time since the early 80s.

Love the red uni's.

Bart Johnson can throw b-b's.

Speaking of b-b's,I like this bb richard at SS.

Mike Andrews at 2nd might be an issue, but you can't go wrong with Bill Melton and Dick Allen carrying that lineup.

Rich Reichardt and Jay Johnstone provide adequate offense in the OF but Ken Berry can't hit a lick!

Stan Bahnsen should help Wilbur Wood carry the starting pitching staff and your guys have a great manager/GM with Tanner & Rollie Hemond.

See, I don't care if the White Sox do well except for the 4-6 games a year they play the Cubs. I enjoy going to night games there, it's more convenient for me except for the parking cost and i just like watching baseball (I watched 4 minor league games during my recent three week vacation in NC) even when I don't have a rooting interest. I was genuinely excited for them in 2005, because I had long-suffering family and friends, and I felt like that would put pressure on the Cub organization to get their shit together.

The current team, however, doesn't do that much for me. I did not like the Thompson for Frazier trade at all, even though I understood the logic behind it. But I haven't watched them very much, most evenings I watch the Dodgers, Giants, or Orioles on MLB.TV if the Cubs aren't playing. I would hope that they'd sell of at least one or two non-Sale pieces in July (maybe one of the catchers and one of the outfielders) to get some lottery tickets for the farm system.

If I had to pick one guy I really like on the roster, it's Quintana. Doesn't complain about the lack of run support, doesn't same dumbshit stuff like Sale, just does his thing well.

I love Hawk's tone when they lose. But that's not the spirit of your question. I love seeing a game there in the lower bowl. The food is solid. I appreciate that they attempt to win every year on a limited payroll. It's not my preferred strategy, but it is admirable.

The stadium. Sale, Q. Abreu. Grew up in a house where the Cubs were watched during the day and the Sox at night. 1st game ever was old Comiskey 1977 V Cleveland.

Plenty of white trash cubs fans out there. They have just been priced out of the Wrigley scene by douchbros, yuppie tools and the corporate teet suckers.

Last I checked the Cubs ruled the desolate fields in BFE Illinois, Indiana and Iowa.

These uniforms are probably my all time favorite from any team in the league.

Jack McDowell was one of my favorite players.

Konkero's grand slam in the WS was one of the coolest things I have seen.

On the current team, I like Sale. Anderson looks like he could be a good one as well.

I can have a section to myself.

My tax dollars build bars and video boards rather than funding social programs or whatever other useless government initiatives.

Orientating away from the Chicago skyline was brilliant call. Fans can look at the Stanley sign instead!

If I get curious as to what altitude sickness feels like I can just buy a UD ticket.

Finding a meth guy is really easy at the Cell

Food quality is 2nd to none. Management is so driven that the Churro quality exceeds the quality of the team.

I do not believe you took this thread in the spirit in which it was intended.

Went to the game against the Jays a week and a half ago after running the Bears 5K earlier that day.

1. Cool beach towel.
2. Great seat in the 500 level I got on Gameday App for $5.
3. Food was good.
4. Updated scoreboards helped while keeping score
5. Easy Easy access to public transportation (used green line to orange line as I had to ref a semi-pro football game that night at Solorio and had chosen to park at Pulaski for the day).
6. I would go again, while not a die hard Sox fan I enjoyed the day, convenience, and cool fans sitting around me...

Meth use is way higher on the north side than it is on the south side. Probably by orders of magnitude.

As much as I enjoy going to Wrigley, the food there may be the worst in the major leagues.

Is Levy still doing the White Sox catering? It's always been solid, which is much appreciated for a night game.
