I thought when she discovered a few weeks ago that yelling into a microphone doesn't work for her, she'd started to turn a corner. She's very engaging when she methodically gets into nuts & bolts discussions.

But she gets in front of a really enthusiastic crowd (thx POTUS & Pocahontas) and it goes right out the window. And then she doubles down on the plastic all tooth smile & continual wave to whichever person she wants people to see her waving to/acknowledging. Hillary is at her best as a policy wonk. She is probably the best in the game. She continually has separated herself from others when given a chance. She understands that aspect better than anyone.

Unfortunately that doesn't fly in the television age. The fact that Trump has been able to garner the nomination strongly suggests that people don't want policy wonks. They want entertainers.
