It was a lakemoor cop. Believe it or not, he came into my yard saying we were committing the horrific crime of lighting off bottle rockets (this was the 4th of July). Interestingly enough, had he had any police skills, he could have easy observed us from the street near where Don Tiny created his creative parking lot and seen that the bottle rockets were easily coming from at least a block further east. We were sitting around the fire pit, which has a full, unobstructed view of the street. Now, that cop came up on us from the other direction, walking thru the side yard between my house and the neighbors house (where I park my truck during lakemoorfest) and tried sneaking up on us before DW saw someone sneaking about in the yard thinking it was my neighbor playing around.

I have no doubt about that. I've known many cops over my years and I'll say they are about the dumbest fucks I've had the displeasure to deal with. Way back in the day, I played a weekly poker game with a group of Kankakee's finest. I stopped playing when one of them got pissed about my winning every week, pulled his gun out of his belt and put it in the table. I raked my money in and told them all to go fuck themselves. Too bad, I used to get the best, cheapest weed from the wife of one of them. He'd skim half of what he confiscated for her to smoke and she would sell some to me for pennies. She used the money to buy clothes. He was a fucking rube. The dogs were the smartest members of the Kankakee police force.

and had a gun but got taken out by the middle-eastern dude with the rifle might've been a vice squad/undercover cop? wasn't clear.

that guy looked like he was experienced killing people with guns. the way he shredded the other guy w.out hesitation and then swept his weapon around to check for others before immediately clearing out of the area.

Well the video I'm now seeing from Ismael dejesus makes it seem as if one assailant was on ground level shooting fairly wildly in the direction of cops and dropping magazine .
