Once again, I must point out that there are twenty or thirty very active basketball posters...and all of them engage me. Only you believe my arguments are out of left field. you know, after thinking about this dwyane wade thing for a day or two i've come around to the thinking that one of the desired effects of him coming in is to have a legit "alpha" (-rajon rondo) with a few rings show up to remind jimmy butler of his place in the grand scheme of things. seeing as jimmy's the youngest guy on the longest contract it stands to reason that he'll likely be around the longest out of everyone, so when this dwyane wade thing pops up all like "plz don't make me go to denver" they tell themselves they'll have some buzz and hopefully having a legit "that dude" in here will provide jimmy with an example of what you gotta do to be "that dude" in this league.

He has a chance. Game is a little too perimeter. Settles for jumpers when he should attack. I think it has to do with his lack of athleticism. Plays below the rim. Needs to get better defensively. Love his motor and he doesn't mind competing. He also has nice size for the 4 spot and he can run the floor. I think he will be good. He should be able to move Taj out this yr.

I wish that Portis would box out with more urgency and stay more involved on D rotations. I actually think his offense is pretty solid other than the aforementioned tendency to settle for jumpers when he has a driving lane.

You're probably right, but it's more who finishes the game. I would expect Gibson on the floor late in games (although they could mix and match lineups allowing both to be).
