Maybe he is prematurely understood that his kid will identify as transgendered and found no appropriate bathroom.

Really, I don't think he gave it any thought at all. His baby needed her diaper changed and that was the most important thing. The universe was revolving around the baby. That's why he's a douchebag. It's like my grandfather used to say, "Hooray for me and the hell with you." The two waitresses should have stopped him though.

I don't know how any parent would think that is acceptable, and I'm pretty much an expert now on the subject.

To me it sounds like the yuppie brunch douche version of how Lyndon Johnson would hold meetings while he was taking a shit. It's about asserting power.

Why would I make something that stupid up? I couldn't believe the guy wasn't taking the baby to the bathroom. I should have taken a picture.

He wasn't a yuppie though. He was a Sox fan. Not quite Ligue level.

For sure.

If it was a local the kid would've sat in the shitty diaper until this morning.

 There was a baby on the bar in Cork & Kerry after the game too. Aggravated Bob got into a beef with a guy in "Sox Fans: Pride & Passion" on Facebook over the guy taking his infant to a game. It devolved into the guy accusing Bob of wanting to eat his kid or something.

Seriously, my food hadn't arrived yet. If I had been in the middle of eating I would have gone off on the guy.

I don't see a problem taking your infant to a game. Just change them in the bathroom and don't let them cry all game.

I'm waiting until my son is at least 3-4 to take him to a game. Even then, it will be a Kane County game or something similar. I'm not breaking the bank if he can't last at least 6-7 innings at an MLB game.

As far as JORR goes, get the fuck outta here changing your kid's diaper that close to someone's meal. Go change him in the bathroom or your car. You should have said something, moddie.

The guy is an idiot for doing that. I have changed diapers in a mens room. It is not fun, but doable and better than doing it on the table and in front of everyone.

But, aren't you basically upset because the universe should revolve around you? Hooray for you and hell with the baby...

Having basic human decency and not presenting fecal matter that close to a stranger isn't expecting the universe to bow to you.

Yeah, I don't care if you take your baby to a game. Bars and restaurants are a little different. It depends on the place. I might get annoyed by a baby in TGIFriday's but I would never say a word because you have to expect that babies will be there. If I'm going for 600 balloons at Everest, I'm damn sure going to have a beef if there's a colicky baby at the next table. I wouldn't find a baby or a kid in a neighborhood place like Shinnick's to be strange or inappropriate. But Cork & Kerry doesn't feel like a place where a baby should be.

It sounded like it. I don't think not having a load on the table next to me is a "hell with the baby".

Our plan when he is a little older is to go to a brewery for lunch.

If he cries or is fussy we will deal with it.

I think the drinkers at noon on a Saturday can deal with it.

MLB is a safety and courtesy issue. Foul balls and bats if Addison Russell is hitting flying into the stands. Plus there's being courteous to your fellow paying customers that they don't want to be bothered by a baby. So I'm pretty sure I can unlike all these other tools:
A) not buy the tickets
B) politely decline the free tickets
C) skip buying 3-4 beers so I can pay for a damn babysitter

Like JORR said bars have more gray area. But I've already been "Chus'd" when I complained about armies of strollers and toddlers overtaking a bar so I won't start that one.

I brought my baby children (and baby momma) to many baseball games. I never had a single incident and I never imposed on anyone. I didn't buy an extra seat but the Sox always had an extra one available.
