Same here, except it was with my Grandfather.
Walt Sr, was 2 scotches everyday for lunch. If I was out on my bike and he was heading out for lunch, he'd always throw the bike in the trunk take me for a burger and give me some quarters for the Donkey Kong machine.

He was a little nuts, but I wouldn't change those memories of my Grandpa for anything. Of course, though, I wasn't in diapers.
