I don't have an issue with him sitting out.

I do have an issue with the timing. If he was going to sit out, he should have decided to do so for sure before the rosters were finalized. The NL could have taken another pitcher who would be able to do more than just hang out in the dugout. This is Arreita's first and perhaps only AS game, and he is actively choosing to waste a roster spot.

Nice that this all came out after Cueto was named the starter

They interviewed him about the All Star game over a week ago on 1000, and he said it wasn't that big of a deal to him to play in the game, let alone start.

And do you care to reply to the one directly above yours, IMU?

This is the most worthless fucking post I have seen in two weeks or more.

A "shitpost" composer is simply not allowed to judge the quality of others' posts. You're on post quality probation.

Hey, don't blame me. My name is purple...but I'm not a decision maker. The people have spoken. Blame the people.

Frank's right, of course. Going to the All Star game and declaring you aren't going to play is worthless. Just stay home and let someone who isn't a me-first GLORY BOY go take the roster spot.

Yup. It's also bad to now be blaming your performance against the Mets and the last few weeks on fatigue.

Zobrist is out of the lineup today because he is still "bouncing back" from the 24 games with no day off.

Maybe Maddon should get a gynecologist into the clubhouse for his next act.

.277/13/47 with a .386 OBP. He can have a few days off in July.

Now getting a couple more. Resting a bit more for the September playoff push. Robin planning something like this for the Sox then when they are out of the race?
