what for? Every reliable predictive model (Fair from Yale, the guy from Emory, etc, et al, yadda, yadda, yadda) has the Repugs winning in November--regardless of whom the nominee is. The models are "nominee agnostic".

Game's already over. This is just playing four corners til the votes are tallied.

It would of been nice if Bill Maher could of put one person on his panel tonight that wasn't more left wing than him.

Dan Quayle has been the butt of jokes for better than 25 years. It is hard to see how Trump doesn't somehow surpass him. He sought to make a mockery of the process and he has mostly succeeded.

I thought butt-sex aficionado Dan Savage was Ron Reagan Jr.

I switched back to PBS's coverage. Charlie Rose hosting a panel of traditional media types, bemoaning their declining role as gatekeepers for political careers. They too seem resigned to President Trump. They did note that the debates with Hillary will likely take on a heightened importance; and that there's plenty of [social media] rope for Donny T to hang himself btw now and the first Tuesday in November.

Weren't the debates what made Trump during the primary? And if he hasn't shot himself in the foot enough already on social media to sabotage his campaign, hard to see what he could do or say going forward that will scuttle his now seemingly inevitable march to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Ted Cruz might have just given Donald Trump the greatest assist he could ever hope for.

It's astounding.

Hillary has yet to say whether or not she's voting for Trump. If Hillary wanted to kill Trump's momentum, she'd endorse him.
"Dog who caught a bus" is being imported into the American political lexicon from the Brit-press's coverage of Brexit:
Quote:
Boris/Trump is like a dog chasing a bus (Brexit/POTUS). Now that he's caught it, he hasn't a clue what to do with it!.

Once Ivanka is front and center, Hillary might lose the under 35/social media savvy female vote to the Trump family.

I think I'd vote for Ivanka over all these fools.

She seems reasonable.

Whatever you think about Gingrich and his politics, and I'm not a fan, he seemed like a voice of reason in this shitshow. He's the only person that has taken the stage at this convention that I wouldn't be embarrassed to have representing me. Maybe Paul Ryan fits into that category. These aren't guys that I'd want to vote for, but at least they seem like competent adults. The rest of these people are fucking lunatics.

Hillary has some work to do to earn my vote. Very impressed by the whole Trump family. Bill Clinton has to deliver.

I think it is hilarious that Trump supporters were chanting "Goldman Sachs" at the person who is cast to be the wife of Ted Cruz because she works for Goldman Sachs.

I really want to know the logic as to why what Goldman Sachs does is wrong but what Trump does in business is alright.

Isn't Goldman Sachs a Hillary taunt?

I need a negative campaigning scorecard.
