No. I said he was a fraud from Day 1. MANY of his supporters truly believed this and they all owe me an apology.

You owe me many more.

Truth be told I really don't but that's a conversation we'll have next time I see you.

We were right Nas.

Just be glad this man did not end up as President. Who knows what kind of trouble we would be in.

Leash's point still stands. Anyone calling Bernie a fraud but supporting Hillary is hard to take seriously.

Right about what? Bernie being a fraud? I said awhile ago in the long Bernie thread that if he folded and endorsed Hillary that he is a fraud.

But yeah, Hillary is the most phony politician in America. That is quite a feat.

Trump: “I alone can fix this.”
Is this guy running for president or dictator?

 Didn't Bernie basically spend months saying he is the only one that can fix things?

Deep down I think Bernie hopes Trump wins.

Pretty sure Bernie never said he alone could fix anything. In fact, his entire campaign was based on a movement and he continually preached that it would take more than just electing him president.

I disagree. I think much of his campaign was about how electing him was the only way to fix things because Washington was broken and get this country moving in the right direction.

Not to mention, given the way Bernie has supported other dictators in the past, it may not be the best tweet either.

I understand his point as a campaign but I don't understand it in regards to Trump using the term he did.

Bernie has said the same thing for months in slightly different words.

Not really. He continually pointed out the need for a "political revolution" to defy the status quo. This is one of the reasons why you hate him, remember?

By "millions of Americans" voting for him and other candidates seeking to dismantle a rigged political and economic system. Sanders was also very clear that ordinary people needed to actively participate in the political process by pressuring elected officials to crack down on Wall Street, implement populist economic policies, etc.

Bernie has been pretty much a one man band. The "revolution" began and ended with him. Hillary's amendment to her convention platform really didn't include that many provisions for him and his ideas.

Sanders repeatedly stressed that his "revolution"--which was actually a reformist movement--depended upon mass participation from ordinary people.

I already made my point.

Bernie campaigned that he was the one to fix the problems in this country and that no one else, not even Hillary, could do it.

That isn't much different than Trump saying he alone could do it.

Bernie repeatedly emphasized that only a mass political movement could help him succeed. That's democracy, not dictatorship.

It would actually help his revolution to have elected officials on his team.
