Basically every poll conducted says otherwise. This is not me espousing my opinion. Every poll conducted showed Sanders beating Trump handily as opposed to most polls that show Hillary and Trump neck-and-neck.

The thing is that Bernie never really stood up to the negative campaign ads that Hillary has. I know the supporters of Bernie don't like to admit it but there was a lot of things to attack him on. Hillary didn't do it to avoid making his supporters even more mad than they were but the Republicans certainly would have.

There are many articles that state the Republicans wanted Bernie to win the nomination as he would easily have been characterized as someone the average American didn't want.

Trump isn't going to beat Hillary.

Okay, even if true, there is no data to show what these hypothetical attacks would have done to his numbers or his reputation. We do have objective data that shows him doing better in a national election.

Hypothetical Jay Cutler > Hypothetical Bernie

We also have data to show that Hillary got people excited to vote for her by millions more with Democrats.

Do you think Trump is going to beat Hillary?

As I've said before, it's easy to conceive a scenario where Trump wins given the voting restrictions that have been implemented fairly recently in many battleground states.

Does a Trump victory feel likely? No, but neither did wins by Reagan and G.W. Bush--or Bill Clinton for that matter.

It would be something if Assange releases the other 30,000 emails from the server. Both exposing what she was trying to hide and also proving that the server was hacked.

Another story being buried is the DNC's attitude towards gays and latinos.

I wouldn't take it for granted if I were running but I also can't see it happening.

I mean, I spent years saying I was "anyone but Hillary" and I'm pretty sure I'll vote for her if it seems close, and otherwise I'll vote for whatever starry eyed dreamer FavreFan tells me to vote for.

Its one of the reasons Trump has yet to spend any money on campaign advertisement. The media will say that they aren't shaping the coverage yet they will provide a 45 min infomercial sorry campaign rally cut-in in order for Trump to tell the world for the millionth time how great he is.
