GOP convention, per usual, will have more gay homosexuals on the dais than the Democrats:

Rock Thee on the Dais: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMuDtfxAIKk

Pence = attempt to "invigorate/motivate the base". Dunno if it'll work; but seems like solid thinking on the part of Ivanka. Barring further deterioration in the economy(which a shite 3Q and/or poor unemployment reports and hrc17@ might as well stay home in bed and catch up on Orange is the New Black with Huma on Election day--the winner of this contest is gonna be whichever side gets more of their core voters out to the polls on the first Tuesday in November.

Also, getting a few more old ladies out to the polls on your behalf never hurts in American politics.

Here's one of the speakers:

"Thiel founded and is the largest investor in a company called Palantir Technologies that works with “big data” and mainly sells its services to government intelligence agencies. Thiel launched it with support from the CIA’s venture capital arm."

Now that really sounds like somebody ready for things to be shaken up in Washington. No staus quo for this guy.

It still amazes and saddens me that this is happening. I really can't believe that the Republicans are at least standing by watching it happen.

I'd have a lot of respect for them if basically every Republican no showed this and we let it basically be a commercial for the next season of The Apprentice.

Is Trump really that much worse than the your average anti-evolution, anti-abortion, anti-climate change Republican?

Did we lose that awesome post JORR or someone made of how a debate between Hillary and Trump would go? I just wasted a bunch of time trying to find it to no avail.

It's kind of a funny spin. Hillary uses the illegal server that could have been potentially hacked and somehow it's become Trump's fault because he cracked wise about it.

 yep.

Lets distract everyone with what Trump said, instead of being outraged about what is in the emails

Mother Jones wrote:
Donald Trump encouraged Russian hackers to find Hillary Clinton's deleted emails during a bizarre press conference on Wednesday in Miami.

"Russia, if you are listening, I hope you are able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing," Trump said, referring to the emails that were not handed over to investigators from Clinton's private email server. "I think you'll be rewarded mightily by our press."

The call for foreign hackers to take down his opponent was only one of the many strange moments in the press conference. Other highlights included:

Trump claiming, "I don't know anything about him," when asked about Russian President Vladimir Putin and the growing amount of evidence that the Democratic National Convention hack was carried about by Russia. Trump has in fact praised Putin for years and said in November of Putin that "I got to know him very well."

A repeat of the claim that American Muslims don't report terror plots to authorities. FBI Director James Comey said last month after the terrorist attack in Orlando, Florida, that "some of our most productive relationships are with people who see things and tell us things who happen to be Muslim."

Trump appeared to confuse Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, Clinton's running mate, with former New Jersey Gov. Tom Kean.

He said he wouldn't go to France, which has been the target of several recent terror attacks. "France isn't France anymore," he said, likely referring to the number of immigrants who now live in France. The French Embassy declined to comment.

he is making a joke about the frankly ridiculous notion that the DNC concocted that the government of russia hacked the DNC... what the f is so offensive about the joke? you can only be offended by that joke if you actually believe the russian government was involved in supplying wikileaks with those hacked emails... which even reading that back sounds idiotic

And if she loses, the blame will be put on the voters who didn't fall in line and blindly support her.

Yeah, in reading another account I took it as him laughing it up saying if they did it then find the emails.

i must be a simpleton, but i read it as a joke that the emails are literally "missing" like missing as in i lost my keys missing. do people really read that as encouragement to hack hillary clinton?

CNN headline:

It is almost a roundabout way by DNC to make people believe Russia did it without proof.
