It is almost a roundabout way by DNC to make people believe Russia did it without proof.

All of the experts agree that Russia did it.

I'm almost expecting Trump, not Hilary, to get a post-convention bump.

The propaganda arm of the DNC (The Press and Media) has been expending enormous amounts of energy trying to spin, bury and deflect from the email leak, it's gotten sad and pathetic.

I had an 8 hour round trip drive the other when this stuff broke and almost immediately they ran with the "story" that Russia was behind it even though, at that point, it was based on nothing more than a guess.

Example: CNN had on some Democrat Congressman/shill and the exchange went like this,
-Reporter "So, Congressman, what is your take on the emails that leaked? What does this do to the convention and to Hillary"
- Shill "Well, first we are looking into Russia as the actor that hacked all of this, and let me tell you they are scared of Hillary because she is so strong, so awesome and so charming. They don't want her to be president. They want Trump because he is abandoning NATO and is friends with Putin. That's what is going on here."
-Reporter "Oh yes, tell me more about Russia leaking these emails and hacking the DNC server....RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA PUTIN PUTIN RUSSIA RUSSIA PUTIN RUSSA"

All the panels were the same thing.

The press is shedding all pretense of actually being an objective party and is canceling their 3rd Estate membership. Doing whatever they have to do to get Hillary into office. They owe her. Chelsea Clinton didn't get 600k to work a ghost job at NBC for nothing.

The FBI does believe that Russia was behind the hack. It's been reported for a while my friend.

Please let this whole handling of the DNCleak be a forever reminder of how the media spins, de-legitimizes, and distorts the narrative of a news item which is unfavorable to their interests.

I never had much faith in MSM. At least Fox knows it's a conservative shit slinging Neanderthal fuckfest. I feel the same way about MSNBC. They come off as whiny baby back bitches most of the time, but I do enjoy the occasional talking points of their guests.

CNN is the network which has disappointed me the most throughout this political cycle. Tbh, the political coverage is only part of the issue. The way they covered a missing plane for damn near a week non fucking stop was the antithesis of global journalism. I also get so triggered when a shooting or tragedy happens and I turn this channel on to see one of their anchors smiling as they tell me 50 people died because they know the ratings are about to spike.

TL;DR
Journalism is dead, and it has been for a long time.

@oliverdarcy oh wait, so NOW the emails are a national security issue???

But Trump got them to finally admit that things that are a threat to our national security WERE on her server.

How fucking dumb does she think her followers are?

Trump wasn't joking when he said he hoped Russia hacked and stole her emails. He's clearly encouraging them to try to get the emails.

Either way, if he is joking or not joking, the bigger story here is the emails that Hillary said did not even exist.

She said she deleted 30,000 personal emails with no relevant info in them. What's the harm if they are released?

He asked for the emails she said were deleted.

They would already have the emails.

They were deleted. The FBI found some. I don't know if all the emails were personal (I doubt it) but I have more of an issue with a person that wants to be president encouraging Russian hackers to help him.

Remove your opinion of Hillary from the equation. A presidential candidate is openly requesting Russian hackers to help him win an election.

If there's no sensitive material in those emails why would it be a big deal? I'm sure the Russians don't care about Chelsea's baby shower.

Yes, but the thing is Trump can get away with pretty much all of the shit he has said because the majority of people (I'm not saying they are all voting for Trump) absolutely do not trust or respect the politicians currently in Washington. Why would any American trust corporate whoring, big bank shills anymore? It's ridiculous, and it really shouldn't be ok with all the outlandish statements Trump has made. He isn't the cause of acceptance though. It's never just a this or that issue.

Read what he said.

Read the response where Hillary's team NOW claims national security issues with her emails after denying it for well over a year.

It's already a BIG win for Trump to anyone paying attention.

Even if you truly believe Trump was joking, a guy that has a 50% chance of becoming president in the next 3 months can't tell jokes like this. Hell a guy running for mayor of Mayberry can't say shit like this.
