Pretty piss poor graphic right there. Not saying the results would be different, but they could really do a better job gathering data than picking 50 quotes.

Clearly Hillary is honest when she speaks.

That's the centrist/neoliberal Democrat model. Act like a CHAMPION of unions. Send their jobs overseas. The government workers are the only ones they can't bust. Go Hillary!

And import workers.

Honestly it's definitely not Hillary or Trump. Trump sounds more sure of himself.

Trump is impressive in that he barely ever answers a question and yet still lies almost 100% of the time when he does.

For sure. The finance industry has plenty of bad elements and lots of unproductive activities. Things like hedge funds and high frequency traders add little value. I could spend all day talking about the benefits of securitization, and that was one of the areas that killed the economy in 2008. The home loan market does not exist without it.

The larger problem with finance and MBA styled education in general is that much of our best talent flows to private equity firms and investment banks rather than real economy, productive jobs. Luckily we have a vibrant tech sector and entrepreneurial culture that keeps the economic engine running. My undergrad is in science, and I had to go back to business school to earn a real living. Running lab equipment wasn't paying the bills very well.

There was blood on everyone's hands with the mortgage crisis. The financial industry was to blame but so were ordinary people. I knew like I'm sure everyone else on here, a number of people that considered themselves budding Donald Trumps. Everyone was looking to get paid from real estate.

A few small investors trying to get rich hardly caused anything. It was almost 100 percent the financial industry, which knew it was giving out crappy loans to create securities that could be dumped on suckers. The other bad behavior was fueled by this.

It wasn't just a few small investors. There were millions of people investing in real estate if you factor in the " flippers". It also doesn't factor in the people that were using their home as an atm/credit card

A guy in my office was bidding on a short sale in Sleepy Hollow after the crisis hit. I pointed him to the Kane County Recorder's website where they catalog all mortgages in a free to use database. We decided to dig in on what went wrong for the sellers.

The property was located on Deer lane. The owner had taken out a $475,000 zero interest loan at 12% interest. That equates to nearly $60,000 per year in interest or $4,829a month. Now I don't know about you, but nearly $5,000 in interest a month can probably be reasonably afforded by less than 1% of the population. The borrower took out the loan in August 2006 and got the foreclosure notice in August 2007. I surmised that he never made even one payment and probably never intended to. I laughed when seeing that a Lehman Brothers entity was the lender.

We started exploring other foreclosures in Kane County and found so many interesting stories. Just go to the recorders site and look up anything with an "LP" recording code. Those are your foreclosures.

That's how I purchased my crib. Previous "owner" purchased it never paid a mortgage and walked away before they came for the keys. I got it on foreclosure for less than half of what she paid. She took a few appliances and rolled out in the middle of the night. It was in 06 or 07.

Crap like this is why I still don't believe he wants to be president:

http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/02/politics/ ... index.html

Don't get me wrong... I actually agree with him on this one - crying babies are awful. But you don't say that at a rally of your own supporters. And there's no way he doesn't know better.

I think he was joking. The 10 year old boy calling Hillary a bitch is a problem though.

Trump is in the midst of a full fledged mutiny. This is a fight for the future of the Republican party.

I thought the BoT went to automation just to remove control of the corn pit from the 2 Outfit lackeys who controlled it for years?

You can't make this stuff up

Nas,

I’ve spent over four decades of my life making successful deals.

And as your next president, I will make great deals that finally put America First!

I’ve written all about my history of making successful deals in my best-selling book, The Art of the Deal. And now I want you to have a signed copy with a campaign contribution of $184 today.

Get Yours Now

Nas: The Art of the Deal is now out of print, so this is a very limited edition issue and only available through this special offer through my campaign.

Nothing gets done in Washington, because we have too many politicians who have zero experience solving problems in the real world.

When I’m president, I promise to change the corrupt culture that has led to gridlock, out-of-control waste, and massive bureaucracy that hurts working Americans the most.

But first I want you to read about the unique leadership and business acumen I will bring to the White House in my best-selling book, The Art of the Deal.

Get your signed copy of The Art of the Deal with a contribution of $184 today.

Thank you and God bless you,
