He's got good stuff. Sometimes he's lights out.

But usually he sucks balls. Really cannot remember the last time he was lights out. That would be a great memory refresher for me.

well you're always blackout housed so that may be why ya don't remember

Whatever the fuck that means but OK

Strop has a sub 3 ERA for the last 4 seasons.

I get he has given up a couple big hits vs. the Cardinals over the years and people hate his cocked hat.....but he has been a pretty good reliever during his time with the Cubs.

Dribbler up the 3rd base line, Baez ran in, barehanded it and threw the guy out on a perfect throw

Tonight was the Coobs' 21,000th game.

They are now 10,673-10,171.

3rd straight series win against an over .500 team.

Much better after the ASB.

Fish are currently a playoff team and they bet their No. 1 starter. And Texas is the #1 seed in the AL.

Not that I'm an authority but I'd approve of America grave peeing.

Man, Montero might be the most expensive back-up Catcher in the league next year.

I'd say let's part ways with him but you're going to need somebody on the bench and they say he can still frame pitches. Other than that though, he's really struggling with everything else out there. It's like he's fallen off that proverbial cliff.

WTF?

In Lackey's world it's against protocol to lay down a bunt? What the hell is mad at Gordon for?

 You gotta love him.

My youngest daughter is at her first Cubs game today with her Aunt. Got to see some nice defensive plays so far. Now hopefully get to see some Cub runs

Don't let her near Lackey.

Yeah he is awful. I would rather have 45 year old Ross back next year than Montero. Time to pay him to go away.

Lackey is tolerable in a vaguely similar way Rodman was tolerable ... at least he's being a raging rectum on the Cubs' behalf, at least nominally.

I think of it as the Jim Edmonds era with the Cubs. Yes he is a hilbilly pudwhack, but for the time being he's our hilbilly pudwhack. As long as he is helping stabilize the rotation it's fine but he's clearly leading the league in redassed dipshittery.

Look, I'm not gonna lie .... I had zero recollection of that .... I even had to hit Baseball Reference to make sure you weren't high or lying or both.
