If I were religious, I'd probably just keep my beliefs to myself and not try to prove that they're right. It's a losing battle.

Haven't you seen the Facebook posts about God curing cancer?

Take that war on religion somewhere else, pal. Hatchetman has a tough enough time as it is, being a white, Catholic male, in the United States.

I think that you have Jesus confused with Martin Luther.

Jesus chose to not have children. Luther wasn't granted any grandchildren.

Jesus chose to not have children.

Fuckin'a, Jesus was ahead of the times. Kids are too fucking expensive since Obama fundamentally transformed America.

Anyone here interested in three kids?

Oh, stop yourself. You're open to nothing.

If you need someone to explain the last 7+ years, then you haven't been paying attention.

Good summary of last days of the crumbling caliphate and the array of rivals who have temporarily put aside their differences to take down ISIS:

Course, once ISIS's caliphate falls, the real fun begins. I like how this Kurdish guy wastes no time working PR against the Shiite's running Iraq:

70 billion trillion (the estimated stellar population of the observable universe) is quite a few rolls of the dice, and each planet of those stars has millions, or even billions of years of environmental shifts of their own.

Why is that a problem, exactly? Also, evolution is not the God of the Universe. Evolution exists inside the Universe, and only inside the Universe, because what lies beyond the singularity which created spacetime is unknowable. We cannot interact with the "other side" of a singularity, and it cannot interact with us, and that's assuming that "time" exists outside of the Universe, which it might not.

An AP analysis of thousands of leaked Islamic State documents reveals most of its recruits from its earliest days came with only the most basic knowledge of Islam. A little more than 3,000 of these documents included the recruit's knowledge of Shariah, the system that interprets into law verses from the Quran and "hadith" — the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad.

According to the documents, which were acquired by the Syrian opposition site Zaman al-Wasl and shared with the AP, 70 percent of recruits were listed as having just "basic" knowledge of Shariah — the lowest possible choice. Around 24 percent were categorized as having an "intermediate" knowledge, with just 5 percent considered advanced students of Islam. Five recruits were listed as having memorized the Quran.

The findings address one of the most troubling questions about IS recruitment in the United States and Europe: Are disaffected people who understand Shariah more prone to radicalization? Or are those with little knowledge of Islam more susceptible to the group's radical ideas that promote violence?

The documents suggest the latter. The group preys on this religious ignorance, allowing extremists to impose a brand of Islam constructed to suit its goal of maximum territorial expansion and carnage as soon as recruits come under its sway.

Turns out ISIS would prefer recruits that don't even know shit about Islam so that they can push their distorted view of it on them. I think these are the actual fake Muslims that JORR keeps mentioning.

It does not say anywhere that they prefer these types of recruits. It's just a profile of their army. I bet most of the German Army didn't know that much about Mein Kampf either.
