Next up on the feminist remake, Oceans 8. Make them stop. Please.

Bow down before the insanely stacked cast of the all-female ‘Ocean’s 8’ reboot

When this morning brought word that the financially troubled Ghostbusters reboot probably won’t get a sequel—this, in a world where Son of the Mask, Dumb and Dumberer (which I saw in theaters, do not @ me), and not one, not two, but three Alvin and the Chipmunks sequels are real movies that exist—we were sorely disappointed. But praise the goddess, for she answered our prayers, delivering news so good we’re still not 100% sure it isn’t an elaborate, industry-wide prank.

Ocean’s Eight, the upcoming all-female Ocean’s 11 spinoff (because women earn 8/11 = 72 cents on the dollar, wake up, sheeple), has a cast. And that cast is unbelievable. In addition to previously signed-on stars Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett, Deadline reports that Warner Bros. is “close” to making things official with Anne Hathaway (!), Helena Bonham Carter (!), Mindy Kaling (!!), rapper-turned-Neighbors 2 star Awkwafina (!!!!!), and Rihanna (!!!!!!!!!!!!!*).

This all started with Bridesmaids. It was ok, not great but watchable.

If this one bombs it proves that men are better actors.

The Oceans movies starred Clooney, Pitt and Damon, three of the most marketable A list actors on the planet. The earlier one's starred timeless guys like Sinatra.

Casting of the female version is providing largely unrecognizable stars to the general public.

Part of the allure of the Oceans movies is cool guys in cool locations. The female version seems to be going after the laughs with awkward women being thrown into cool locations.

ok so evidently not only is there a female rapper (call it a hunch) whose name is a stylish phonetic misspelling of bottled water, but she's worthy of four exclamation points? and then rihanna acting in a hollywood movie is worthy of 13 exclamation points? wow. you figure you'd leave a couple 1's towards the end of rihanna's 13 exclamation points to really drive the emphasis home, eh?

Rihanna will play the role of the Chinese acrobat and not have to speak

One of the most overrated things to come across the cinema in a long time. Paul F.a.g. is a hack.

And fuck this movie. It will bomb too, all the SJW tropes will be out in force. Lame.

Why can't they get some chick actors and put them in an original setting with an original script?

Come on, Sandra Bullock is not insanely stacked.
