speaking of preseason (mainly cuz i'm not wanting to go dig-up/make another thread about this topic) have you guys heard that some ppl are filing either complaints or lawsuits against the NFL/HOF about that canceled HOF game from sunday night? not only do some of these ppl obviously want their $$$ back for the tickets, but they're also claiming there was like 80-90mins where the NFL/HOF knew the game was canceled but they didn't tell the fans (obviously so they could go and keep on buying concessions/merch/etc).

so because of these treacherous 80-90mins of sheer and utter duplicity on the NFL/HOF's part, these fans don't want only their ticket $$$ back.... or even just their concession $$$ from those "shady" 80-90mins back..... oh no, some of these guys also want $$$ back for gas/airfare and then lodging.... and if that isn't enough some people are even seeking additional $$$ to cover the hours they took off of work (assuming on friday and/or monday) to go and travel out to the middle of ohio for the NFL Hall of Fame GAME!

i tell you what, i reckon you can't fault people for "going for the endzone" here but holy shit asking for $$$ to comp the hours you took off of work to come to bumblefuck ohio purportedly for an overglorified FIRST preseason game** = some new level of audacious that has to hearken [Current Year] jokes/memes.
