He's become one of my favorite Cubs. Love the fire and passion.

Would it be out of line after the first cub beaning to have chapman start warming up for Matt carpenters next at bat. I don't care if it's the 4th inning.

Interesting lineup today...especially considering Wainwright is a righty.

Yeah, definitely an interesting lineup. With Arrieta pitching, maybe Joe assumes he can rest some guys, namely Heyward.

More like, with Arrieta pitching, Maddon thinks he needs to score more runs, so he is benching Heyward.

Seeing Soler was the reason for saying that. Not sure why he is in the lineup nor do I know why he is in the four hole. As much as Heyward is an offensive liability, I do still like him out there in right. Also not a huge fan of Contreras in left, but whatever it takes to get his bat in the lineup. Then there is Montero...

They should just have Chapman fire off a 103MPH heater in the dugout at Matheny to make sure he is paying attention

I don't think anyone gets hit today because (a) I just don't think so, and (b) there's no way this game gets played due to rain anyway.

If/when it happens will probably be on Sunday because the core concept of the CARDINAL WAY is cowardice

I predict that the benches clear at least once this series as the cardinals try to manufacture some type of edge or whatever you'd like to call it. We will see. Hopefully no silly injuries.

Martinez did throw "high & tight" on an 0-2 count on Russell. Not sure what the F Montgomery was doing or if it really was one that got away on Holliday...breaking his thumb. I hope no Cubs get injured because of payback. If so...I go directly to Montgomery and kick him square in the nuts!

It's Gonna Happen! ...payback that is.

Can't sit Heyward without sitting Fowler too because of so many feelings.

Or maybe because he went 0-5 yesterday ... minus the batter it's the under-27 lineup today ... let the young kids play for a day.

Russell at Wrigley is definitely All-Star worthy.

Guy has been killing it at home all year.

He's at home watching "Jersey Boys" on a 24 hour loop.

I love you baby, and if it's quite alright
I need you baby to warm the lonely nights
I love you baby, trust in me when I say
oh pretty baby, don't bring me down, I pray
oh pretty baby, now that I've found you, stay
and let me love you, baby, let me love you...

Yes, in a Hoboken gutter, pants down, and used condom in his rear.

When predicting a split, I forgot that the 2016 Chicago Cubs are the best team in the history of MLB and have a destiny to fulfill.
