The last time they were 55-60 @ 115 games was in 2015.

The last time before that was in 2014.

I'm not sure I'm entirely sold on their 3-year plan.

Nobody has done anything of the kind. In fact, Sox fans have created a fake Hall of Fame plaque for that clown lamenting his "lack of run support". Jose Quintana is a number two on a bad team (the Sox). He would be a number one on a terrible team.

No one has made him a scapegoat or blamed the White Sox' woes on Quintana. The point is that he's not a Cy Young candidate or a "Top Ten Pitcher In The Majors". He's just a decent guy. If he's your third best pitcher, you're going to be okay. If he's your fourth best starter you're probably gonna win your division. He doesn't make a lot of money for what he gives you. If you could lock in your number three guy at 12-13 with two hundred innings pitched, you'd probably be wise to do it. You probably go 17-16 in his starts, if you have a lockdown bullpen maybe you get 18-15 out of those starts. But he isn't some ace stud no matter how much you sit around lamenting his "lack of run support".
