The Cincy fans should take note of how you get out of the way for the home team trying to catch a foul ball

gotta admit it's a bit weird to see the cubs broadcast show their upcoming games/schedule with pete rock's T.R.O.Y. (they reminisce over you) playing in the background.

that said, nice one on the T.R.O.Y. droppage

Their decisions on these replays are baffling. Might as well not even have it.

If Soler hadn't been doing his Aramis Ramirez impression down the line he might've at least made it close.

Zobrist 2-3 in the five hole. Not sure why he was ever moved from there.

Serious question.

Do you think Contreras develops under a Hendry regime or do you give the credit to Theo & the boys?

I dunno. He'd probably be on the Soto diet of pot and doritos.

I thinkthis group is exceptional at player development. IDK, though, on Contreras.

Geo is still cashing a major league check.

And did Willson convert to Catcher while Hendry was still here or was that after he left?

But not so good on DJ development. That pipeline is a bit thin.

It would be cool, just once in your life, to hit a home run like that.

As much as I wanted to laugh at it, apparently several players have commented about how important Rickett's "Cubbie Way" material was coming through the system. Given that Corey Patterson was the extent of positional players developed under Hendry, I'd bet Contreras wouldn't have developed like this under Hendry.

Yes. And I'd ride the bat like a fucking horse around the bases twirling my invisible lasso and screaming.
