Quintana has been given 4+ runs of support while on the mound exactly 40 times in his career. He is 27-0.

Nice of Quintana to provide the offense some pitching support.

For his career, Quintana has surrendered 3 or fewer runs 105 times. He is 63-18 with a whopping 69 No Decisions. Quintana is more likely to get a No Decision than a Win when he gives up 3 or fewer runs, and he is just barely more likely to return a decision (good or bad) than not when throwing a Quality Start or better.

63-18 is pretty good. Well done Quintana giving your team a very good amount of pitching support!

So 13 times he couldn't hold the opponents under 4 runs.

Loser.

Not exactly. We just saw him give up 0 against the Tigers after getting 4 runs of support and Robertson did all he could to make sure Quintana wouldn't get the W.

Impressive....but the handful of Sox fans that think he's horseshit can't comprehend that statistical fact. Dude has been shortchanged big time on that garbage team..if you disagree ..you are just arguing to argue, you couldn't possibly believe that.

Absolutely... But the Sox would never accept that.

They shouldnt.

The Sox could get much more than an injured DH for Quintana.

I said this during the off season.

That seemed like an incredibly logical trade for both sides but it would be Schwarber ++. Cubs would never do that trade because he hit home run in the playoffs and now is untouchable.

Schwarber + the home run ball in plexiglass = Quintana

That's why the showcase circuit is so important, Fellas. Those high school players face the best players in the country. If they show at those circuit games you know they're dudes because they're doing it against the best.
