I am 51 and do not ever remember this much humidity during a summer ever. 150 miles SW of Chicago also and i know it has been a bit cooler north if that even matters.

It's the dewpoint that has been completely unforgiving. It just sits in the high 60s/low 70s constantly.

Lows at night should be low 60's at highest. My cousin lives in Denver and said it rained more today than he can ever remember in August today and cold as hell now. Bring on the cool breeze.
