All right, all right, i mean don't go to a restaurant
*starving*.

If i can get some willing participants there is a chance i can do a road trip chicken event. But i cannot see anything topping what i got growing up. My dad makes great chicken too.

Why are the portions so small? No light and dark mixed / No 1/2 chicken?

You can order a 1/2 if you've got the extra $3. You can order 4 whole chickens and a Coke if you want. The portions are large.

That would be correct. Except for the pickles but they are free.

Breasts are larger than the server's tiny ass hooters.

Doc, you know anywhere around Nape and surrounding area (but not as far as Ladd) to get a pork tenderloin sandwich?

Raymes in Lisle has a pretty good one.

Also, Home of The King-Sized Cocktails.

Haven't been there since they re-modeled, but always liked their horseradish-crusted pork chop.

They don't have a tenderloin. Doc is just making things up to mess with me.

I have had it there for lunch twice but it's been a while. I'd be surprised if they took it off the menu.

Bummer.

They probably still do. Just not listed on their online menu.

I pass by this place quite a bit. It's good? It looks like a place my parents would take my 90 year old uncle for a day out of the nearby Villa.

It is.

And the owner guy is, by all accounts, a pain in the ass and possibly a racist.

But, the food is pretty good, pretty good prime rib, and the cocktails are huge.

So Rip's has a lunch menu on Saturday. There are seven people in the restaurant, perhaps five at the bar. Three working the kitchen...if you define working as standing around bullshitting.

Food took forever.

Does anybody really go there for lunch, Godfella?

Feels like going to IHOP for a steak dinner.

Doc - I have never went there for lunch. Not really the first place that comes to mind when you think "lunch" out here in the valley.

Next day off I have I'm heading that way with Mrs Fella. I'll report my experience...

They didn't even have lunch back when it was a frequent haunt of Dr. Ken.

They are open way more often than back when I remember.

Best I remember it was only Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun night.

You'll wait in line on a Thursday night about as long as Friday or Saturday now.
