I like it.

I do too...I had a feeling when he beat Reigns a few weeks back

That was the extent of the quality matches in the show tonight.

Once was really bad. Landed on her head after a reverse rana from the top rope.

I thought Ambrose and Ziggler was good.

The last 2 matches on the night sucked. Are they going to continue the Orton/Lesnar feud now?

Orton didn't blade himself. It's not allowed anymore. They finished the match because they had no idea what else to do. Awful ending.

Sasha thinks she's better than she is. Thinks she's as good as Rollins. Almost killed herself three times tonight. Shoulda broke her neck on the reversed rana.

Styles vs Cena was the best match of the night.

Not sure. If it was a blade job it was the most epic botched blade job since Guerrero.

Watching it back again right now. Lesnar legit got Orton on the ground and pound. Not a blade job.

Huge botch. Awful ending makes sense now.

I know that part of Lesnar's charm is that he doesn't give a fuck about the WWE but you can't be busting talent up like that. They gotta do something. Dude is a prick.

The ending to SummerSlam was like the last episode of the Sopranos. It certainly seemed planned since Lesnar took off his gloves. Having him really elbow Orton is some really dangerous shit though, and something only Vince would approve.

It's especially insane considering Orton's history of concussions.

Let the guy blade and you get the same visual.

So silly.

Watched the main event of NXT again.

Both entrances were excellent and the match killed.

Balor dislocated his shoulder last night during the match. He popped it back in and finished the match.

Now he needs surgery and will be out 6 months.

And he relinquished the title he won last night.

Damn that really sucks.

Hopefully not another Daniel Bryan situation.

That orton cut is nasty. I was reading a lot today about the possiblity that Brock did it on purpose...

A lot of people were confused at the ending of the Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton match at WWE SummerSlam. No one really knew if Lesnar was supposed to bust Orton’s head open or not. One person who was apparently confused about what went down on Sunday night was Chris Jericho, and his misunderstanding of the way the match ended reportedly led to a confrontation with Lesnar.

According to Dave Meltzer (via TJR Wrestling), Jericho wanted to see if the ending to the match occurred as planned, so he walked into the gorilla position and started asking Michael Hayes questions. When Hayes wouldn’t answer, Jericho reportedly said “That’s bullsh*t.”

It was at this moment that Lesnar came walking through the door and he heard Jericho express his anger towards Hayes. Unfortunately, Lesnar thought Jericho was talking about the match, so this happened:

Lesnar thought he was talking about his match, and called Jericho a pussy according to one version, or “shut up” according to another, and to mind his own business. The two got face-to-face and started exchanging words, with one version saying they were shouting at each other the whole time.

They got tangled up against the wall and Lesnar told Jericho to punch him or kiss him. Paul “HHH” Levesque jumped in quickly and broke it up. It was heated enough that they went back at it at which time Vince McMahon broke it up. Jericho started yelling about Lesnar and McMahon told Jericho that it was all a work and to be professional.

So while this is a bad thing that happened, at least it was based on a misunderstanding and not based on the fact that Jericho and Lesnar wanted to fight each other. That’s especially good news for Jericho, because you have to be a – *takes a deep breath to compose self* – stupid idiot to want to fight Brock Lesnar.

I really hope it was a work.

If Lesnar did that to Orton on purpose because of being mad at him for some reason then there needs to be some serious consequences brought down on him. You don't do that shit.

Cornette could put in two more lifetimes' worth of effort and never work as many marks as have been worked in the last 24 hours.

yeah because no one in wrestling ever lays potatoes on someone to make a statement.....

Lesnar legitimately does not care, and I could easily seem him laying an elbow to Orton on purpose and not part of the "script".

Again, I hope it isn't, but anyone that thinks it is not possible is crazy.

Holy fucking shit.

Lesnar isn't going to go into business for himself b/c he's not a fucking mark for himself. He's there to make money - that's it. He can't make money if he turns on the boys. And do you think Randy Orton, who gets pissed off like a raped ape if the wind blows the wrong way would just lay there and take it without so much as a peep then or now?

Literally zero evidence or reason or sense behind the idea, yet people can't wait to say "well gee I don't know" like a fucking Republican senator at a science fair.

I cannot recall anything like this at any time in the last five decades ... and at least for most of that kayfabe was still a fiercely protected thing.

Was he the agent on the match? Or was he half-assed paying attention after all the hoopla and then decided he was king of the boys by asking Hayes a question that, as he was told, was none of his concern.

Just ... stop.

For about the 5th time. I am not saying it wasn't part of the work. I just think it is possible. Lesnar is known to be a loose cannon and I could see him being pissed at Orton and hitting him. It has happened a lot throughout the years. The boys do not always follow the "script".

I don't see why that is such a controversial statement.

Because the absurdity of the notion completely falls apart when applied to the reality of last night. Otherwise you're sound as a pound.

It was a work.

Lesnar doesn't care about the business as long as he gets paid. This is a job to him. He isn't going into business for himself.

I think the plan was to cut Orton hardway, but it was worse than they thought.

Jericho getting worked by the deal is funny.

Yea, Vince admitted it was a work.

Let's not blade anymore but let's dig an elbow into your skull to get blood instead when we are dealing with concussion lawsuits. Smart!

Never doubted it was a work, but it was a terrible one. People don't already think Lesnar is an insane bad ass? Was it worth risking Orton's health for that terrible ending?

Cena-Styles was great, but the Lesnar-Orton ending shows what a mess they are creatively now.
