I get it if that is what he wants to be. His goal is to start a grass roots revolution to get people elected that share his vision. What are the odds that the best possible option to start with this is the person who "screwed" him?

It's a good example of this not being The Sanders Movement. The guy was running for the office before Bernie supported him. It would be like saying Obama becoming president was due to the Clinton movement

I don't think Canova ever had much of a shot at beating DWS. Sanders has been trying to oust her for both personal and ideological reasons. I think it's clear that he despises her.

My idealistic son does, as well. I do think he will impact the movement if he fundraises and donates as proposed but, as you said, this is hardly the Sanders movement.
