Revolution Messaging is already working with the campaigns of Zephyr Teachout in New York and Tim Canova in Florida, which according to the firm’s analysis on Open Secrets are the House candidates with the highest small-dollar donor percentages. Sanders has vocally supported Canova, who is challenging former Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

I guess the revolution includes enacting revenge on your enemies. Donald Trump would be proud.

I get it if that is what he wants to be. His goal is to start a grass roots revolution to get people elected that share his vision. What are the odds that the best possible option to start with this is the person who "screwed" him?

Pretty damn good, considering she is part of the Corporate machine he railed against. You're reaching here.

I guess we'll see how it works. The article indicates the campaign is not going well. If that was considered one of the best hopes for the start of his revolution then things may not go as planned.

It's a good example of this not being The Sanders Movement. The guy was running for the office before Bernie supported him. It would be like saying Obama becoming president was due to the Clinton movement

I don't think Canova ever had much of a shot at beating DWS. Sanders has been trying to oust her for both personal and ideological reasons. I think it's clear that he despises her.

Yeah, Sanders and his two idiot henchmen--Weaver and Devine--are attempting to claim ownership of something that is much larger than the Bernie campaign. I still like Sanders, though.

My idealistic son does, as well. I do think he will impact the movement if he fundraises and donates as proposed but, as you said, this is hardly the Sanders movement.
