A 10-year-old Albuquerque girl was brutally slain in her family’s Northwest Albuquerque apartment early Wednesday, hours before she was to celebrate her birthday at a party complete with manicures and cake.

Late Wednesday night, Albuquerque police released horrific details of the crime allegedly perpetrated by the girl’s mother, her boyfriend and another woman. APD spokesman Tanner Tixier said the trio injected the 10-year-old with methamphetamine “to make her calm down so they could do whatever they want with her.”

She was sexually assaulted by her mother’s boyfriend and the other woman, and Tixier said the mom showed “no remorse.” They then either stabbed or strangled her to death, Tixier said......

Given the location, takes the concept of Breaking Bad to a whole new level.

Odd fact of the day,my sister and two teenage daughters live about a mile from here. Not a horrible area, decent school the kid went to. I haven't talked to her but probably should. While not perfect, she takes mothering seriously. I am fairly callous to most stuff, but not this one. The effects of proximity on this have to come into play.

Nas is right though. Meth isn't PCP. It's a strong version of Coke. Even if it's cut its not gonna make you do some shit like this unless you were gonna anyway. Drug isn't to blame here.

How an officer can restrain themselves from not hauling out their weapons and killing pieces of shit like this makes me believe that the bad cops in this country are really the minority.
