You're kinda on a roll with these live events GD. Good shit.

August through October is always my busiest social time. Still, this weekend was pretty extreme. My shit is dragging at work because of it.

Cubs making this dude work tonight. And Bryant just worked a double out of a shallow bloop just barely out of the infield. Dude is hustle. It's a good thing.

Let's just hope you have to make up for lost time by lowering yourself to working weekends.

Hendricks really is the best fifth starter in MLB . I mean maybe the best ever. Could be ace on any staff without all the better ones like Lester,Lackey,Hammel,Arietta. Lead in ERA. Wow. Yep I would pass him up for the playoffs.

Wouldn't that be insane? Maddon goes Arrieta, Lester, Lackey and they sweep the NLDS, then Hendricks doesn't pitch until the fourth game of the NLCS, yet he wins the Cy Young.

Watching this game on MLB network with Bob Costas announcing.

Gotta say I never thought I'd see Hendricks pitching like Maddux-lite. The last few years he always gave me a 50/50 feeling when his name came up to start. He may be the most pleasant surprise of this season for the Cubs. The Pirates just couldn't do a goddamn thing with Kyle tonight. Hopefully, he can keep rolling into next season.

I would have preferred if Maddon left Hendricks in this game.

He will shit the bed big time next season I would guess. Revert back to the twathead the Rangers thought he was all along. Sure is great now however.

Hendricks will have a Hall of Fame career. He's not a fraud like Arrieta is.

If only Cliff was batting against him. Cliff needs to find one and jump off it.

This Carl Edwards is something. He weighs about 160 soaking wet, and yet he looks effortless when throwing 98 mph with movement.

Thank God Dempster vetoed the first trade.

The sound on that was crazy.

Bryant was messing around with a 12 inch softball before the game.

Poor effort by Soler to get Bryant in. Bryant did a great job with the hit and then taking 2nd on the pitch in the dirt. Rizzo made a productive out, pulling the ball to the right side to advance Brant to 3rd, but Soler has to get the ball to the outfield, or stay inside the pitch and try to hit to the right side. Great job by Russell to pick him up.

All joking aside, there's definitely something different going on with Heyward lately.

I know he's eliminated the toe tap, but maybe those off days really helped him clear his head?
