I didn't realize it was this bad. even the starters suck in the grand scheme.

The most important person to have in your organization in any sport, is someone who can evaluate talent. You can have the worst owner or front office structure around, (See Jeffrey Loria) but if you have that one guy then you have a fighting chance.

Really awful. They set this franchise back a decade.

Have Pace's picks been any better?

Neither 1st rounder in White and Floyd is making any impact. Whoever the Bears got in those slots should have been tearing it up day 1.

Emery and Pace killed the franchise. Nor have I seen anything in Fox to make me confident about him.

Why is Robbie Gould still the kicker?

I was going to joke about this, but nevermind.

Even Long is overrated (still a good player, though) and Jeffery is too banged up all the time to do anything. Charles Leno Jr. and KaDeem Carey seem appreciated by the new coaches, but who knows if that means anything. You'd figure drafting a punter would mean a good punter, but O'Donnell is nothing special. Fales would be gone if Connor Shaw didn't snap his leg in two.

One injury to Long, Jeffery getting hurt again (almost certain) and a few camp battles shaking out a certain way and the Bears could have ***0*** players from three consecutive draft classes starting except for a goddamn punter. A decade may be a bit much, but the Bears are probably still 5+ years from contention. Their complete lack of direction and roster that is bereft of any talent reminds me of the White Sox.

... and the reason MANY are still starting or even on the team is because the Bears suck. Angelo's drafts after 2005 were also awful. Fuck this franchise.

After watching Long handle a prime Suh a couple years back Vs the Lions only to see Detroit to move him away from Long.. I was sold. Suh was getting mauled in that game by Long too lol

ya but drafting a guard 1st round is a luxury for contending teams looking to plug the "last piece" hole.

there were MANY more pressing positions of need and Emery reaches for an over-age guard.

Pace sucks as well. Fox is garbage. The whole franchise is trash. They've made me start to hate football and for that I will never forgive them.
