There is no criticism here. It's just business. That's what everyone said back then.
Tommy and Theo did what they felt was best. The Cubs are no worse off because of what Tommy did. Bryant is worse off because of what Theo did.
For some reason, no one is mad at Theo but everyone got mad at Tommy.
