There's a lot to be said for consistency and not having ADHD. Hell, Baez is more talented than Russell, but you know he'd have brain farts at short. Addy's a good egg.

He's been much better at 2B. Only 10 errors this season.

But defense isn't his strong suit. He is starting to develop power... he can hit. He is still young / developing and if the power increases and he becomes slightly more patient...he can be an .800+ OPS 2B.

Hi threatening looking playoff team. Get beat by our 22 year old defense first short stop who will clear 100 rbis in his second season. Then watch the game closed out with out having the first second or third option in the bull pen. Have a nice day.

edwards has been nails.

wished one of edwards/ramirez/grimm could've developed into a starter but can't complain with all three becoming contributors at one point.

It's no coincidence that since Russell took over at SS, the team has really jelled.

Gotta have consistency at SS and he is that plus the spectacular as well. Then add in clutch hitting and 88 fucking RBI and you really have something.
