The other night, I planned on reading "The Origin of Species", which I bought at a book sale a year ago. But then there was a Facebook link showing the 20 ugliest actresses without makeup, and I just couldn't resist.

analog books are the way to go. i'm on my 3rd kindle, and have the kindle app/library on my various android devices--great on trips or for commuting. plus there's usually free downloads of most books, so you don't have pay for $15 (for a freaking ebook? come on now...) for Chuck Klosterman's latest repackaging of previously published content he's already sold via other outlets. i think i pick-up/retain more when i read an actual book vs e-books.

I definitely do. Something about the electronic screen just makes reading material feel more inconsequential than may be.
