I'm starting to be ok with that happening.

Hillary needs to court Republicans in order to win. She needs to move more to the right.

She is courting Republicans. I wouldn't be okay with Trump as president.

good analysis. could be why Trump came back from "being Presidential" in Mexico and re-upped on the pay for the wall nonsense. he/his campaign doesn't want their 43% or whatever his ceiling is losing steam before November.

I mentioned that a couple weeks ago. They hear him say he's going to make the military great and a bunch of other crap and they believe it. Most of Trump's supporters never ask how.

Trump is talking to his supporters like he's pitching a new building project to a bunch of contractors--join me, we'll all get rich together. cut to a few years later and Trump's counting his money while the contractors whistle for payment in BR court.

The fact that he routinely shits on business partners matters not to Someguy.

Vendors NOT business ""partners"". Bankroptcy isn't a crime. It was invented to protect the job creators. Sometimes a vendor gets sense on the dollar. Part of doing business. You think it's never happened to TRUMP???

None of us would be. the question then becomes, should Trump win, who do the Trump kids have take over running the country so Donny can get back to his twitter wars. I don't know about much about Pence. Their [rumored] pitch to Kasich to have Kasich run as Veep and then be de facto President was about the best idea I've heard out of the Trump campaign.

Other than the devil (Ted Cruz) any other republican would have been a better choice and I believe Kasich would have been the best. Trump doesn't strike me as a guy who likes to delegate power. He would have definitely reneged on his deal with Kasich.

Trump appears to delegate to his daughter and his older son at least. Ivanka's the one who got the Doral deal done, a deal that Donny T trumpets as his own work:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/monteburke/ ... b0f9164096

maybe that's all bs PR and it was really Trump himself who closed that deal, I dunno. Kind of believe it was Ivanka, back then Trump had reality shows and beauty pageants to run.

He listens to his daughter more than anyone. She’s probably the only person in the world he genuinely loves.

Routinely skating liability is perceived by you to be a skill. Check with the number he did on investors in his Casinos and see if you dismiss them simply as vendors. Be careful in the way you casually dismiss his "vendors" also. Champion of the poor Someguy may become offended.

so Trump doesn't want to be president but he would take all the presidential power. Not sure I understand it but ok.

I'm actually with you. I think he's a Hillary plant. Genius move that worked out way better than expected.

He wants to win and his foreign owners are the reason he is running. They will simply implement the old Rothschild Family playbook with his bought and paid for ass.

Back during the Repub convention, Charlie Rose did post-convention shows each night. One night he had on some dude who traced back and detailed Trump considering running for President since 1988? Back when his 'Art of the Deal' book came out. According to this dude, Trump has been this close to running for President several times since then--including 96, 2004, 2012 [and prolly other years]. Mid-terms of sitting Presidents? Worst time to run.

Anyhow. That narrative suggests Trump is serious about wanting the job--or at least the adulation that he perceives accompanies the job. Even tho he'd likely find it a living hell when his approval ratings make Congress look good and his own one-time supporters are burning his mug in effigy on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Could be that the Clintons, well aware of Trump's many flirtations with seriously running for Prez, egged him on this time ["you can do it, Donny, just be yourself, people will love you!" yadda ] and got him off the schneid.

She has to counteract her move to the left to get the Bernie Sanders people with her.

Well, she already dropped the $15 minimum wage. Usually Democrats wait until they're elected to abandon their principles. Dearest Most Qualified Hillary is really putting the "pro" in proactive!

It requires a certain level of duplicity for the pro-Trump crowd to couch their support in anti Hillarism. Talk about your Machiavellian style politics. They secretly want Trump to win but they can't say it for fear of being called out for supporting such a dumbass. Is there really any doubt as to whom they will pull the lever for at this point?

You just can't accept that many of us would never vote for Trump but that we still recognize what a horrible person and candidate Hillary is, can you?

he really can't. It's a major malfunction, but one that speaks to the larger issue of a dominant two party system.

ergo, doubting the accuracy of all those polls. the polls aren't biased; you can dig into any poll and see details of their composition. but are the people they are polling being honest with their responses, esp the high numbers Johnson gets whenever he's thrown in the mix. Not saying all Johnson supporters are closet-Trumpets; but no 3rd party has garnered more than 1% of the popular vote since Nader's 2% in 2000. Gary Johnson himself only scored 0.99% in 2012....and this time, stoned out of his gourd sounding in interviews, he's polling near 10% in some polls and consistently over 5% (when he's included in the poll).
