I will continue to dismiss it. He's a clown. It's all a charade, ltg. I'll say I told you so on election day.

I think she'll probably win, but it's not the sure thing you're saying.

What happens if no presidential candidate gets 270 Electoral votes?

If no candidate receives a majority of Electoral votes, the House of Representatives elects the President from the 3 Presidential candidates who received the most Electoral votes. Each state delegation has one vote. The Senate would elect the Vice President from the 2 Vice Presidential candidates with the most Electoral votes. Each Senator would cast one vote for Vice President. If the House of Representatives fails to elect a President by Inauguration Day, the Vice-President Elect serves as acting President until the deadlock is resolved in the House.

My dream scenario is that neither candidate gets to 270 AND Johnson ends up winning a state or two and the House ends up picking him as president because they know he's the only sane choice. None of the Dems or GOP like Clinton or Trump.

About 50-55 million votes will suggest otherwise.

Stop talking about the popular vote. The popular vote doesn't matter in the primary and it doesn't matter in the general election. 50-55 million people probably watched the Big Bang Theory too. That doesn't mean they aren't idiots for watching something stupid.

You are literally the only person I've encountered that seems to genuinely WANT Hillary to be president. Would you would choose her over any other candidate?

What makes Trump's idea goofy is that no one thinks that Mexico will pay. IN the case of Libya is may not be out of line since we did in fact lead the effort to overthrow its dictator. They aren't analogous

It was a European operation with "us" jumping in at the last moment because of agitation by Clinton/Rice/Powers at behest of Blumenthal and the big money concerns. Obama wanted no part of it originally. It was a brain dead email, written by an idiot that worked for an idiot and brain damaged SoS. Only idiots would even defend the notion.

So, according to you "Libya" which isn't really "Libya" but a collection of shattered territory (a weak recognized govt. non-withstanding) and ISIS strongholds should pay "us" for blowing their nation to bits? Is that what I'm getting here? It's okay to destroy nations and cause humanitarian catastrophes to enrich big corporations/donors and then have whats left of the "nation" in question pay us for it? If not, please expound.

Trump is a terrible and dangerous candidate that could quite literally possibly endanger our entire republic's existence. Hillary is a slightly better candidate who is truly awful, but she is definitely a better candidate than Trump. Hank is right and Gary Johnson is the only logical choice.

What's truly baffling about this thread is that ltg is going to read the above few sentences and surmise that I am an anti-Hillarism Trump voter.

It's always hard to tell if you're serious but this is certainly the prevailing attitude among Hillary supporters, which is a big reason MANY of us wouldn't consider voting for her.

uh-oh...

Add FF and Hank to the list of four people who SAY they're not voting for Trump BUT REALLY ARE! Perhaps I should revise my forecast on the Hillary victory...that makes six!

To be honest I wasn't in favor of the Libyan invasion. Obama violated the war powers act in my opinion. It was his call and not hers. Her judgment was wrong in supporting and encouraging the invasion.

I think Johnson will siphon off more votes from the right than from the left. Clinton is trying to push that narrative so people like me will eventually cave and vote for her instead of Johnson.

Shes not even on the ballot in all 50... There is only one serious third party alternative and it isn't the nutjob that thinks wifi causes cancer and is anti-vax.
