Ehh... the roast itself isn't that great, but it was nice to see Coulter in shock. Also, lots of Peyton Manning/chromosome jokes, so that was pretty funny. Manning was a good sport, though.

Not really. She got just as many jokes thrown at her than anyone else on the panel of roasters.

She was just bad when it was her turn to do the roasting. I read that she wrote her own material, and it wasn't even funny, or even delivered well. That's why she was booed.

It was okay ... not bad, not great ... I felt the best overall set was Jewel's really ... Ross was pretty good but that's to be expected ... Pete Davidson was fine but I wanted more ... the line about this being his old man's second roast or whatever it was was amongst one of the funnier things I've ever heard though ... the best thing to happen to Rob Riggle was Coulter's abortion of a 'set', b/c he sucked ... but he was trying to be funny whereas I honestly think she went out and was the drizzling shits basically on purpose to use the bad press to her advantage ... I guess, I don't know why else that was what it was.

I love all the roasts. There is always some gold to mine from any of them.
I was disappointed in Ross (dressed like Prince). He needs less shtick and better jokes. He was coasting. The Karate Kid guy should not have stood up to talk,that was borderline "walk out" bad. A few others bombed but I love the kinetic energy of a Rob Riggle. He cracks me up. If any of you have seen that Vince Vaughn Google movie,Rob is in their towards the end as a salesman sleeping with elderly women to sell them wheelchairs. The only funny part of that movie.

Jimmy, I agree Ross has gotten bad. He needs to stop with the dressing up.

These roasts miss Greg Giraldo (R.I.P. G.O.A.T.). He would have killed Coulter, and there would probably be national headlines over something he said.

Giraldo was the "Roast Master," not Ross.

Hollywood should realize that Riggle is fine in very small doses. Bit parts like the first Hangover movie. 5-10 minutes of screen time with enough happening around him to make him seem funny and not annoying.

i first took notice of his obnoxious ass during Bravo's 100 Scary Movie Moments back in 2007 i think it was. for some reason they thought it was a good idea to include the upright citizens brigade (that included riggle) and the coors light twins.

riggle was instantly aggravating and every time he was on screen he had to chew it to death.

i agree with frank that he's fine in little bit parts. "the office", "the hangover", he was fine. his Fox football stuff is terrible too.

i've said this before about coulter, as much as i loathe her--she takes all of that shit in stride. unlike the "feminist" head hangers who can't take any kind of criticism...she gets absolutely mauled and doesn't seem to give a fuck. i think she actually encourages it.

Its true, shes a fairly bad person but you can never accuse her of not taking what she dishes out.

Agreed, Giraldo was the best ever. His roast of Joan Rivers was unbelievably great. My favorite now is probably Jeselnik (was he on this roast?) I also thought MacFarlane was good, especially on the Trump roast.
