I ordered my go-to cocktail- Johnnie Black Rob Roy rocks, no fruit- the other day and it came without the rocks. These snooty "mixologists" are getting to be like chefs who refuse to cook a steak well done.

Why would you ruin a perfectly good glass of JW Black by adding vermouth? Throw Red in there if you're mixing.

JW Black is awful.

Correction. Blended Scotch is awful.

I'm not gonna pour soda over 18 year old The Macallan or mix Glenlivet Nadurra 16 in a cocktail. But to answer Hank's question, Black is usually as rotgut as I go.

The Macallan 18 is a fine fine beverage.

I've never met an adult who didn't drink pop... except some queer who drinks red wine with pizza.

a few months after 9/11 I tried to convince a friend of mine to dress up as one of the towers for halloween and I was gonna go as a plane and all night long I would just knock her over. She declined, too soon or some shit like that.

I gave up soda a year ago and haven't looked back. Don't drink alcohol either for the most part so my drinking has become very boring, basically all I drink now is water.

Red wine is awesome with pizza!

I used to drink 8-10 diet cokes a day. It's no wonder I had stomach issues. I haven't had a can of pop in over three months and I feel much better.

23 months without pop and I feel awesome. My stomach thanks me.....25 years without drinking. Cool, I guess, but boring.

Two days without getting high.

I got my dad's old coal mining gear and was going to dress as the Chilean miners with some buddies one year, but those plans fell through.

That only works if someone carries around a birdcage with a dead canary in it.

A few months? Like December?

I'm with her. Probably sends a different message at Xmas 2001 parties.

And me. Leash is just fronting. There's no reason to drink pop by itself. I think the only exception I've made to that the last 5-6 years is getting fast food and just getting a root beer with it and drinking maybe 1/5th of it before tossing it.

There's a difference between having stopped drinking pop for health or diet reasons and not drinking pop as an adult because it's a kids drink. It's not a kids drink. There are hundreds of millions of adults who drink it.

I did that for about 6 years. I switched to Starbucks frappuccino to break the habit and I pretty much never have Diet Coke any more.

I will drink Diet Coke but I don't nearly as much as I used to. I used to drink it by the gallon... sort of like JORR.

I grew up drinking Diet Coke b/c my parents drank it, so the taste of regular is too sweet to me, but I'll still drink it if I have to.

I'd weigh 600 pounds if I had a frappuccino every morning.

I'd probably have all kinds of overwrought yet still mundane life events and Twitter trolls as well.

It's the stuff they sell in the stores. It's like 180 calories.

I had some Coca Cola Light in Mexico City and it was far superior to Diet Coke.

Worth hurdling the wall for, IMO.

I just don't like the taste. It's clear I don't give a shit about my health but I wouldn't say it's a kid drink.

No pop or coffee. Bought Starbucks one day when I was really tired and my heart was racing to the point I considered going to the ER. Bought a Red Bull after pulling an all nighter and not only did my heart race but it also made my teeth feel weird.
