That's pretty rich coming from Dan...first, despite the warnings against overtly partisan craps, he's more than happy to read overtly partisan craps (usually long ones to boot). And the callers who don't get the bit should not be allowed on the air, if the producers are doing their job.

Yeah the thing about callers not getting the bit is that the show for years has adopted the position that it's fine if they like you enough. Most of Gary in Evanston's craps were along the lines of "this news anchor got this person's name wrong" but they liked his delivery enough that they'd laugh it up. Same with Baffoe and Steve in Bollingbrook, who never seemed to get it either but could give longwinded craps week after week calling someone they politically disagreed with an idiot.

Is pimp the guy who always end his craps by calling the crap-ee some type of bastard? That guy is great.
