there was a thread for posters who had left and why they left. Dr. Ken had a response about leaving the board for a couple minutes to go to the bathroom. It was hilarious the way it was put. So many of the early threads had these little nuggets that would just crack you up every time you read them.

How about Shark's attempt to create a mult to stand up for Shark?

I don't know if it qualifies as the funniest thing ever but I always laughed at stoneroses posts about Brian "Satan Elf" Cashman.

The funniest event ever was the 30 page thread mocking Elmhurst Steve calling into two shows. Every CSFMB funny poster was on their game. Lols for days

WZ had a good Boilermaker Rick thru history post

StoneRoses probably has the best post to lol ratio of anyone other than Telegram Sam.

Speaking of Sam, he responded to Coast saying he was testifying before a house subcommittee with

"Man this Who is Juggs? thing is out of control"

Even without the board that was great.

Be: Steve is in Elmhurst, and he's on The Score
S: Actually, Im in Burbank
Be: Nobody cares!
Bo: Yeah. Lets put out an APB to find out where Steve is calling from.

Shark can be found locally on MeTV alongside such luminaries as the Julie DiCaro looking Alan Hale as the skipper and the Bob Denver looking Bob Denver on the classic hit show, Gilligan's Island.

The hardest I've laughed was from a post by lipid where he went off on the husband of that family that makes videos singing shitty covers of songs (I don't remember their name).

He basically went on a rant about punching his teeth down his throat and ended it with "sing me song now, funnyman".

I could feel his rage.

yeah, that (and to a lesser extent the inevitable sequel: bernstein bingo) has to be the GOAT. you can talk all you want about quality posts and/or having fun on the C/S/FMB, but that was literally a game FFS. it's inspired me to spend the last ~3 years saying that i should get around to making "Ray Hudson Bingo" for the beloved color commontator on beIN sports' coverage of la liga (spanish soccer league where messi + ronaldo play) -- indeed, it'd be quite "magesterial" if i ever got around to making that!

All of IMU's "serious" thoughts about food, especially pasta salad and Arby's.

Spinnin' Bucket had a great rant about gym locker rooms and the rude ass people who use them. I think he deleted it shortly after the post was made, but I distinctly remember the line of "your gym bag doesn't need to sit on the bench to change its socks. I do," cracking me up for a good long while.

I had forgot the thing with SHARK too, that was hilarious!

SHARK annoyed the crap out of me at times, but I do have to say I miss him around here.

This is how I remember it also. Nancy came in to defend SHARK by talking in exactly SHARKesque terms and it was maybe the greatest thing ever.
