yeah wasn't there a time when dan explicitly said no political craps? i'll admit to not really listening to WYC anymore, but the last few times i've listened i remember it being almost-100% political and/or that aforementioned thing where the ALSers jump on an easy target that dan has been working on throughout the week.

btw, didn't the board eventually decide that a decent # of the e-craps were just bernstein/staff writing in as "rudy" and other people? maybe that was just general e-mails to the show (since "rudy" always seemed to pop up whenever bernstein needed a +1 to fortify whatever position/s he was taking on whatever issue/s) but you figure WYC is the epitome/climax of these type of things seeing as it isn't merely the show's "flagship segment", i've also heard it called the station's "flagship segment"

Canceled once again because Danny said the callers don't "get the bit". My guess is people just aren't even bothering to call in. Said that he had 30 great e-craps but he wasn't going to sit there and read on air for 20 minutes. He then proceeded to read a Joe Sheehan article on RBIs for 10 minutes. You missed the essence of Sarge's sarcasm.

The current format of WYC is all about mis-speaks. That's not what the "bit" is about and Dan knows it. That's part of the reason he gets frustrated, and also part of the reason why nobody cares about the segment anymore.
