You always need taxes. You just need to spend them on the actual functions of government.

No. A vote for Johnson is a vote for Trump.

A vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary
A vote for Johnson is a vote for Hillary
A vote for Stein is a vote for Hillary

It doesn't matter!

You keep saying this, and yet it's still not true. Weird.

He's a young Donald Trump.

CoF is going to have to do Simone Biles level gymnastics in order to get out of looking like an idiot after this election. If Trump wins more than 5 states that's a loss based on how often he has doubled down on his bad thoughts.

Why don't we have an "Attention Libertines" thread (yet)? I sense a lot of pent up frustration. Let it out.

Wouldn't that also make it a vote against Hillary?

So three votes for yes!

The New York Times messed it up twice. They called it the capital of Syria (wrong) and the capital of ISIS (wrong). No such thing as bad press, this will probably bump his numbers. Especially his response to it.

Trump is keeping things close enough in the key swing states that he could ensure victory by secretly employing a variety of "dirty tricks"--suppressing minority turnout, selectively hacking voting machines, etc--without appearing to have undermined the integrity of the election. Clueless Hillary's incompetent campaign team would be powerless to combat such tactics.

I missed his response. Did he head over to Favre Fan's apartment to get even more stoned and smash a Rosati's pizza?

He said that he needs to get better and should have know what they were talking about. He didn't try to run away from it or play it off. Just came out and said he needs to improve. It's refreshing.

To be fair, they don't have much to work with.

It's also quite reassuring that his main strategy for self-improvement will apparently entail skimming the newspaper for 5 minutes per day.

It's also reassuring that THEE newspaper in the country messed up twice identifying Aleppo. Its a third rate city in a fourth rate country. Lets not oversell the importance of this mistake.

It can be correctly read either way.

The guy thought it was an acronym. If someone asks a question in the context of an ongoing conversation, then he probably would have picked up on it. The same thing probably would have happened if he was asked about Homs. Those places are only notable because of the current conflict. It's not like they're something you study in school or hear about regularly. There's 10 cities in Iraq that you hear about from time to time now only because of these invasions.

It's a bad gaffe, but probably a place that 90% of Americans do not even know exists.

Don't worry, I thought Johnson was a fucktard well before he met his Waterloo in Aleppo.
