That was a terrible base running play but why the hell was Avi playing so shallow. He was standing where a 2nd baseman stands on a shift.

Benetti or whatever the hell his name is has to stop doing his Vin Scully impersonation. I don't give a fuck who Matt Boyd is related to and I don't give a fuck about Tyler Saladino's grandfather. Just call the fucking game and leave the obscure bullshit on the prize shelf.

At some point, the Sox will kill Nate Jones's arm...

Another walk for Anderson. Dude's gotta get that bat off his shoulder and let it rip.

Amazing to see Abreu's average is near .300. OPS still way down from two years ago, but...hopefully next year we'll see this when we need it. Or someone else will want him.

Don't shit on an .850 OPS 1B. He may not be the first ballot Hall of Famer you hoped for during his rookie year, but Abreu is still decent.

Decent enough that FF still does not want to pay off his wager as he still has a chance!

I'll take it, but garbage time numbers scare me...

Look at this team.....taking a late-game lead...bailing out Quintana. The Sox are dangerous, baby.

I have to be worried about the Cardinals AND Abreu.

Going to be a nerve-racking September.

Good to see Rodon get out of that. He's been dealing lately but he has to be more efficient with his pitches. Too many 6 inning outings. He should be going 7 or 8 every time out. Hopefully that's something he improves upon next season.

The Sox have 3 legit starters. A few major additions to the offense and they could be contenders next year.

4sure...they got the best ,1,2,3 in mlb imo ...dump some bums like Garcia,Schuck and the catchers and grab a legit cf and catcher and they should be favored to win the division..Robin and Coop gotta go though..

Would have been nice if he pitched like this early on in the season.

Damn. Have to figure they're gonna lose the Shields game but they should have won that one. The bullpen sucks ass again and some bad ab's in the 9th.
